Anna Silk
Anna Silk is a Canadian actor who was born on the 31st of January 1974. She's best known as Bo in the Showcase television show Lost Girl. Silk was a native of Fredericton in New Brunswick, Canada. Ilkay is the director of drama and producer of drama and production at St. Thomas University, is Silk's mother. Silk's father Peter is an academic. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna is able to recall her first experiences when she was at rehearsals for play with her mother. Silk was featured in a variety of commercials when she was just a child. She was in 1997 when she graduated with an associate's degree from St. Thomas University. Theatre St. Thomas staged at least 2 early plays: Seven Menus & The Kitchen. Silk relocated to Toronto Canada in the fall of 1999 to continue her acting. Then she moved in Los Angeles California during the next decade. Seth Cooperman was her future husband when she met him in 2007 during an acting workshop in Los Angeles. They were engaged in 2009, and were married with a civil ceremony December of the same year. Following her conversion to Judaism, they renew their vows in a Jewish ceremony on April 10, 2011 in Fredericton. Silk was blessed with an infant son Samuel Jerome Cooperman in May 2013. Her second son Levi Aaron was born on May 13, 2016. Silk's TV work includes her role in Being Erica as Cassidy Holland and she received the Gemini Awards nod in 2009. In 2009, she was cast as Bo Dennis, the lead role of Bo Dennis in Lost Girl. Silk made it known to her fans that she was pregnant in January 2013 at a Showcase Season Three Special. Silk confirmed via Twitter on June 20th 2013 that the series was returning in the production. The fourth season premiered on the 4th of June 2013 and was produced by Showcase and Prodigy Pictures. Her portrayal of Bo along with Lauren (Zoie Palmer) as lovers who are identical in the show Lost Girl was named one of the most popular Television Couples from CNN (Cable News Network) as well as named the top Television Couple of 2013 by E! Entertainment Television. Silk's success has led to an extensive online presence through social media.
